As we continue to move through this new challenge, there are a few questions that have come up multiple times. Since these are frequently asked questions, we felt we should share this information with everyone.

      1. My child has some essential items they need to get from school. How can I get into my child’s school and get these items?
 
If your child has some essential items that they need to get from school, you should contact the building principal to arrange a time to come to school and pick those things up. This option will be available through Friday, March 20th.

      2. Will the district be providing any student meal while school is closed? 

We are still working to get our school meal program in approved areas of the district based on the Federal Free/Reduced Guidelines. Once we have more information on this topic, we will share it with the community.
 

      3. What changes will be made the school calendar once school is open and in session again?

We are working on some potential changes to the school calendar that would add some additional days of instruction. Unfortunately, any changes we might propose would be tentative at best. Due to the uncertainty of this unprecedented situation, it would be premature for us to share any tentative planned changes to the school calendar at this time.
