Substitute Training

Below are the required trainings for substitutes.

Returning Substitutes

This year we included language at the bottom of your annual Substitute Information Form (found on the back side of the summer letter) that states your signature on your Substitute Information Form acknowledges you completed the Title IX and Bloodborne Pathogens training. This eliminates the need to print and complete a certificate.

Title IX

Title IX training is required for all employees, coaches, and substitutes. To complete this required training, click on the Title IX Training link below. A passcode is required to complete this training and can be found in the "Paperwork for Substituting" memo that is in the substitute new hire packet of paperwork you received. The new hire packet also includes a certificate of completion. After completing the training, fill out and sign the blank certificate of completion. Bloodborne Pathogens

Bloodborne Pathogens training is required annually for all employees, coaches, and substitutes. To complete this training, click on the Bloodborne Pathogens Training link below and read through the information. Then, fill out and sign the certificate of completion that is included in your substitute new hire paperwork packet. If you have any questions regarding the content of the training, please contact any of our school nurses.

Mandatory Reporter (Not required for hourly subs.)

All certified employees, preschool employees, substitute teachers, and coaches are required to have current Mandatory Reporter Child and Dependent Adult Abuse certificates. All mandatory reporter certificates issued PRIOR to July 1, 2019, are valid for five (5) years. All mandatory reporter certificates issued on or after July 1, 2019, are valid for three (3) years.
